Founder & Producer
Boris Veličan (1977), founder and director of BORVEL FILM, is an accomplished film producer with more than two decades of experience in the film and television industry.
Throughout his career, he has worked as a producer, line producer, and production manager on numerous domestic and international projects, building a reputation as a reliable and highly skilled professional capable of managing productions of all scales and complexities.
Before launching his own production company, Boris spent over 24 years collaborating with leading production houses and broadcasters, contributing to the development and realization of feature films, documentaries, television productions, and commercial projects.
His expertise spans the entire audiovisual production process — from project development and financing to production management and final delivery.
Through BORVEL FILM, Boris continues to develop original and commercial projects with a strong focus on innovative production models, international collaboration, and content designed to reach audiences across multiple platforms and markets.

Marla Veličan, co-founder of BORVEL FILM, brings a fresh perspective, digital expertise, and contemporary business approaches to the company.
A key area of her interest is the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in film and media production. By exploring emerging technologies and implementing them within production workflows, Marla actively contributes to the development of modern production processes that enhance efficiency, accelerate creative development, and open new possibilities for content creation.
Beyond her technological expertise, Marla possesses a deep understanding of the habits, interests, and media consumption patterns of younger generations.
Her insight into digital trends, social media ecosystems, and streaming platforms enables BORVEL FILM to create projects that resonate with contemporary audiences and adapt to the rapidly evolving media landscape.
